Uniform / Policy

School Uniform / Policy

Our school uniform is simple and gives a strong sense of identity and with this in mind, we encourage all children to wear school uniform.  Our uniform consists of a:

Red jumper/cardigan

White shirt/blouse/polo shirt

Grey/Black trousers, joggers, skirt. Pinafore

Red Check summer dresses

Suitable school footwear should be worn

Most items of uniform can be purchased in the high street or main supermarkets (logos optional)

For PE and games, children should wear:

A white t-shirt or top

Black or white shorts

Suitable footwear for indoor/outdoor use

PE kits need to be in school every day

Polite reminder: that all children need to be barefoot for both gymnastics and dance.  Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2 children should wear trainers for games (indoor and outdoor).  All hair should be tied back for PE sessions.

All clothing must be marked with the child’s name.  This makes any lost items easy to find.  We do dispose of any unclaimed lost property each half term.  Children will also need to bring their book bag to keep their reading book and other homework in.

Jewellery

Children should not wear jewellery to school.  The only permitted items are a watch and if children have pierced ears, a small pair of stud earrings.

All jewellery should be removed for PE and swimming for health and safety reasons.  If your child cannot remove their own earrings, please take them out before they come to school on PE and swimming days.

Hair Styles / Colour

Children are to avoid getting severe hairstyle cuts and hair dying is not permitted.

No Make Up is allowed to be worn in school.

Your co-operation in these matters is much appreciated.

Thank you
